About Hayward

Hayward has grown exponentially since its settlement in 1841; it’s now the sixth-largest city in the Bay Area and home to several manufacturing companies, including Annabelle Candy, Shasta Soft Drinks and a PepsiCo production and distribution center. Hayward is conveniently located off CA-238 near its junction with I-880 and I-580, just minutes from San Leandro and Oakland at the eastern end of the San Mateo-Hayward Bridge.
