Alamo has its own collection of bistros, restaurants and cantinas, as well as the Alamo Plaza Shopping Center and a handful of locally owned shops. Many people living here travel to Walnut Creek’s Broadway Plaza shopping mall and to the numerous shops in Oakland, where several big-box stores and a multitude of restaurants are located.

Alamo is located near the Round Hill Country Club, Diablo Country Club and the Boundary Oak Golf Course—all exceptional venues—and there are several other attractions within a short drive, as well.
