Enjoyed having Liz as my agent!

I really enjoyed having Liz as my agent! As a first-time buyer with *lots* of questions, she was able to guide me in my search for “the perfect house”. We first started looking in 2005 or so, and when I realized I really wasn’t ready, she said to keep her number and call when I was. So in late 2007, I did, and it was of course, a very different market. She is patient, thorough, and knowledgeable of the Bay Area and the ever-changing demographics; and she really hears between the lines of what you are telling her. Her personality is friendly, yet professional and very easy to talk to. Always has a smile for me! I thought I knew most of what I wanted in my first home, and over the course of my search, Liz took me out on half a dozen (probably more!) property tours, carefully plotting out our stops so it was a good use of our time. But it was the time spent talking at the properties where she would point out a dip in the floor, or that the garage had no laundry hook ups–details an excited client is missing because my eyes are focused on how can this place become My Home–that showed Liz’s true expertise. And once the choice was made, the new questions of contracts and inspections and, well, if you’ve done this before you get it; if you haven’t well, if she doesn’t know the answer, she tells you “I’ll find out” and never made me feel like I was wasting her time. This is one of the biggest decisions you can make, and she doesn’t get numb to the fact that this may not be her first home sale, but it is mine, and that caring and understanding is not common from what I have heard of the industry in general. Additionally, by putting me in touch with a great mortgage broker who works just as hard to get you the best loan, well, I think it’s the perfect “marriage” of home buying! When my house did close and she gave me the keys, I was certain I got the best deal, on the best house with the BEST agent. I recommend her as a buyers’ or sellers’ agent, and will work with her again in a heartbeat.
